A few weeks ago, I had an hour-long session with a friend of mine.
It wasn’t about working out, but about me meeting someone who was willing to do it for me.
The first few times we did this, it felt like I was a little lost.
But once we got comfortable with each other, it became really enjoyable.
The workouts didn’t feel like you were walking into a gym.
I had my phone in my hand, and I wasn’t sure if I had a workout timer.
It was only when we realized the pace of the workout was 30 minutes, that I felt confident enough to do the session.
I wanted to get more fit, and that’s what I was going to do.
But it wasn’t just about working hard.
We talked about how to improve our physical health, and how we can use fitness to make the world a better place.
It seemed like we could work together on this.
This past summer, we did a 10-week long fitness program, using fitness equipment, which is pretty common in the fitness world.
We got together with a fitness coach and started to work out every day.
We also went out to the gym.
It’s not easy.
You have to be physically fit to do this, but I think we all found that we could get better at the workout with the same effort.
You get to know people who are more comfortable working out with you, and you learn how to use the equipment the right way.
We worked on strength, power, and flexibility.
We tried to find some specific things that helped with each of those areas.
We went to a gym that was a mix of public and private, so we weren’t always working out together.
But we were getting more comfortable with that, and it was a lot easier.
I think it’s something we can all get into, and the more we can practice it, the more confident we’ll be when we hit the gym with friends or family.
The more we use the time we spend together, the better we’ll get at it.
